Batesville Parks and Recreation Department is now offering Virtual & Live Fitness Classes at the Batesville Community & Aquatics Park. The Batesville Parks and Recreation Department is now offering Fitness on Demand: simple-to-use, video-based fitness classes. The service is free to members, $5 per visit for guests of the Batesville Community Center & Aquatics Park.

Sept. 16 Gene Sparling Featured Artist at the Arkansas Craft Gallery. Saturday, Sept. 16, the Arkansas Craft Gallery’s Featured Artist, Gene Sparling, woodturner and sculptor, will be in the Gallery between 10 and 5.  Gene describes his fascination with wood saying, “Layer upon layer of intricate designs are contained within a piece of wood and is infused with the patterns of nature.”

Visit the New Murphy Gallery at Calico Rock Museum Heritage & Visitor Center today! This weekend, while you are attending the Mountain Man Rendezvous in Rand City Park, we invite you to take a look at the newly refurbished Murphy Gallery in the Calico Rock Museum Heritage & Visitor Center.  The Murphy Gallery, formerly the home to our art gallery, is now an expansion of our history museum.

Old Independence Regional Museum’s Fall Home School Day Monday, October 2nd. Old Independence Regional Museum has scheduled our Fall Home School Day for Monday, October 2nd from 9 am to Noon.  Cost for the program is $5 per participating student and pre-registration is required.  The registration deadline is September 25th.  The theme for the program will be World War I.
