Grab a coat and that warm fuzzy hat in your closet and join the staff of Davidsonville for an afternoon of spring cleaning in December. With the underbrush finally gone, volunteers are needed to delve into the wilder wooded sections of the park and collect trash that is harming the historic and natural resources of the park. Scout, Civic, and other organizations are encouraged to attend, and this is a great opportunity for students or others who need service hours for various causes.
We’ll provide the trash bags, gloves, awesome t-shirts (on a first come, first served basis), and keep you fueled up and warm with hot chocolate and other tasty snacks. RSVPs appreciated so the park has an approximate head-count prior to the day of. Grab your gear, bundle up, and we’ll see you in the park on December the 2nd! Geoffrey Havens, Park Interpreter, will lead the group.
