The Roadies to perform tonight June 28 Downtown Newport!
The Roadies will be the featured band for tonight’s M&P Banking, Insurance & Investments River Country Concert beginning at 7 p.m. at the downtown park. Admission is FREE, bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Concessions will be available to benefit CASA. You can be this month’s M&P VIP for front row seats on the M&P VIP couch! Share the event post of the Merchants & Planters Bank Facebook page for a chance to enter. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Frankie’s Place on Front Street.
The Roadies is an Arkansas based band that specializes in country, rock, and R&B music. Brodie Johnson of Forrest City began playing guitar and drums at the age of six and has played in bands ever since. Guitarist/vocalist Norman Like from Wynne specializes in singing country and gospel. He plays shows all across Eastern Arkansas. Guitarist and vocalist Daniel Uptigrove is from Forrest City and has been playing professionally for 25 years in various bands all over the mid-south. Drummer and vocalist Randy Rogers of West Memphis began playing in bands with his father, Jimmy Rogers, at the age of 14 and has played professionally for 19 years.
