Wood’s Riverbend Restaurant In Mammoth Springs Perfect Place for Fabulous Food, Fellowship and Fun for Families!
There are so many fine places in the Spring River area to have a good meal. It’s hard to pick one. So, I try to eat out at least twice a day, well, some days. Sunday I chose Andrew & Janice Wood’s Riverbend Restaurant in Mammoth Springs, where you may dine inside or outside under a covered area overlooking the beautiful Spring River. It was so peaceful and relaxing, even inside we could see the River and the water activity.
Sunday was a wonderful day for a short trip to eat fried chicken, mashed taters and white gravy, green beans, sweet tea and (yep!) chocolate pudding. My friend “in cahoots” had fried chicken, broccoli and cheese, sweet taters, and fruit jello – with tasty yeast rolls! I usually take half home with me because they serve you so much food, but I did a great job of cleaning my Sunday plate.
We arrived shortly before noon and it was already close to capacity, and more kept coming in as others left with a satisfied smack of approval. It didn’t take long for service, and Michele, one of the two managers, served us personally. They also checked to see how the food was and if we needed anything else. The other manager, Donna, checked us out and wanted to make sure everything was good for us. The Riverbend Bunch are quite personable, efficient, friendly and are all about serving up hospitality with tasty meals!
