Team Aquafly to Bring Extreme Water Sport Entertainment to the White River Water Carnival (Posted by Ginger Smith)
The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) and 2017 White River Water Carnival sponsors are proud to announce the planned performances of team Aquafly at the 74th Annual White River Water Carnival on September 16, 2017.
Based out of Austin, Texas, Aquafly is one of the largest hydroflight show teams in the world with more than 20 dedicated professionals riding all types of hydroflight devices. Hydroflight features Personal Watercraft Carriers (PWC) that push pressurized water up a 60-foot hose that splits into multiple jet nozzles that create lift for the device and the rider. Over the past four years, Aquafly has entertained countless audiences around the globe. Today, Aquafly has more podium finishes and top-five placements than any other hydroflight team in the world. Team Aquafly will amaze Water Carnival attendees with three daytime performances and one LED night show.
The performances will take place on the White River near the amphitheater at Riverside Park in Batesville. Performances times are as follows: 12 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
In between performances, the Aquafly team will be offering instructional lessons for those interested in trying hydroflight for themselves.
About the White River Water Carnival:
The White River Water Carnival is a free, family event that features entertainment, food vendors, craft and commercial vendors, a parade, and kids’ activities. The event is presented by Bad Boy Mowers. Kids’ activities require the purchase of an admission armband and are sponsored in part by FNBC, McDonald’s, Littlefield Oil, Pepsi and Westrock Orthodontics. The car show is sponsored by the Wood Family Dealerships. The parade is sponsored by Citizens Bank.
