Powhatan Historic State Park to host 2023 First Day Hike
POWHATAN, Ark. – Powhatan Historic State Park will host a First Day Hike tour of the historic town on Sunday, Jan. 1, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., starting at the 1888 Powhatan Courthouse. Participants will learn about the history of photography and the story of Powhatan through pictures before taking the tour of the town.
Space is limited and reservations are required. The tour is $5 plus tax per person ages 12 and up and $3 plus tax per child ages 6 to 12 years. Children under the age of 6 are admitted for free.
