Mountain View 2017 Arkansas Folk Festival April 14-15th!
The Folk Festival is almost here! The parade begins at 10 am with music on the square following. Talent show will start at 2 pm, as will a rodeo. It is the most relaxing, fun atmosphere whether standing or sitting or walking around. I found myself wandering around to each set of musicians on the square, and took some awesome videos of an accordion-playing singer as well as Twang, and the Mayor of Mountain View (singing) and he can clog!
I have had a lot of people ask me about the schedule. Some of them are having company from several states away and everyone is excited to go to the Folk Festival! Plenty of food, arts and crafts, music and shopping and eating! Everyone needs to visit the Folk Festival, whether for the first time, or the 100th! See you there, Ginger!
