Mary Patrick to teach “Magical Mosaics” September 8th-10th
Mary Patrick brings her wealth of experience to the ACS. Beautiful Mosaics to brighten up your home or garden!
Taught on location at the Patrick’s rural home studios, students will learn the art and craft of creating glass mosaics. Students may bring their own designs or choose one from which to complete a beautiful glass mosaic during the class, ready to hang in a window or on a wall. You will learn about mosaic adhesives, grout and tools, and have a variety of glass to choose from. Magical Mosaics is suitable for anyone with strong hands and patience who enjoys having fun! An apron and rubber gloves are suggested.
Mary Patrick has been a crafter of baskets, mosaics and other arts since 1984. She has taught her crafts through Extension Homemakers Services, schools and colleges. She lives in Everton, Arkansas with her husband, blacksmith Robert Patrick.Their home studios are definitely “off the beaten path”, thus the Patricks offer room and board for a small additional fee. The “board” involves delicious meals provided in a beautiful rural setting filled with arts and crafts created by the two.
