Main Street Batesville sets date for Farm To Table Dinner for Sept. 30th (Posted by Ginger Smith)

Main Street Batesville has announced the date for its most popular fundraiser, the Farm To Table Dinner, as
September 30.

The annual dinner features locally-grown produce, locally-raised meats, and locally-prepared breads and cheeses, all expertly prepared by local chefs. This year, The Pinto Coffee and Comida will take the honors as host and event/meal designer. Live music will accompany the poolside pavilion festivities.

The theme will be “the Southwest” and all courses will play off of traditional Southwestern favorites, with a local twist. Food sources include Clark Family Farm, Grass Roots Cooperative, 5 Acre Farms, and Garden Girl Farm Fresh Produce. There will also be an optional beverage of locally-brewed beer by Barn Stormers Brewery.

Presenting this year’s event is Merchants & Planters Bank, along with gold sponsor First Community Bank and silver sponsors Economart Pharmacy, Kent’s Firestone, Bryant’s Pharmacy, UACCB, Beller Dental Clinic, Dr. Patrick Hatfield Dermatology, White River Area Agency on Aging, and Southern Bank.

Tickets are $65/person or $500/table, and are available for purchase at Merchants & Planters Bank or at First Community Bank.

Tickets can also be ordered online at Main Street Batesville’s website, www.mainstreetbatesville.org; tickets are listed under “Products”. For more information email mainstreetbatesville@gmail.com.
