K-Kountry Cares for Kids St. Jude Radio-Thon Feb. 14 on AM 1290-FM 103.7
We are thrilled to announce the 29th Annual Andrew Eckman Shelter Insurance Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply K-Kountry Cares for kids St. Jude Radio thon, Wednesday February 14, 2018 on AM 1290-FM 103.7 The Gift, Anywhere, Anytime KKountry 95 and 100.9 The Train beginning at 6am. Last year with the help of the area businesses, schools, surrounding community events and YOU we were able to raise over $200,000 for the kids at St. Jude. It’s important to know that 100% of the radio thon dollars goes to the cause in supporting the research and operation of St. Jude Hospital in Memphis and the St. Jude wing in Springfield, Mo. We’re pushing the goal for 2018 to $205,000. Let’s do this!
Because of YOUR generosity, E-Communications has once again been named the Number One Radio Station per capita for the Region and the Country for money raised in a single day for the great kids at St. Jude. The research gained at St. Jude is shared freely with Children’s hospitals all over the world. The spirit of you, our listeners, is why we earn this great recognition year after year and we COULD NOT do this without YOU! Because of you, we have the faith to step out once again and set our goal high for the kids at St. Jude! Sadly, our region has numerous patients that are being treated at St. Jude right now, so the effort continues as we work to find cures and save lives. The overall childhood cancer survival rate is 80%, but we’re working with others all over the country to increase that cure rate to 90%. You can help!
