Independence County Library’s Grand Opening at new location on Monday, July 16th!
The Independence County Library will hold a Grand Opening at their new location in the Barnett Building, 267 East Main, on Monday, July 16. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. The keynote speaker will be Governor Asa Hutchinson. A ribbon cutting will take place at 11:00 a.m.
Tours of the new library will be offered throughout the day. There will also be a Teen Open House at 3:00 p.m. All area teenagers are welcome to stop by and visit the new Teen Lounge and hear about upcoming programs and events for teens at the library.
