Let’s get cooking! Join Davidsonville Historic State Park staff for a delicious day of Dutch oven cooking and eating as Thanksgiving draws near. Pioneers relied heavily on Dutch ovens when they were traveling west to settle the frontier. Learn how to use and care for these ovens as we cook up a Thanksgiving meal to be remembered. Once the cooking is done, we’re inviting local veterans to come have a meal with us! We hope to see you out for a memorable afternoon of learning, cooking, and fellowship. This workshop is suitable for all levels of skill. Space is limited and early registration is required. Call the park to sign-up. Menu included below.
Class Cost: $15 per person
Veterans and Family: Free, but RSVP needed.
