Living Windows
A good Hallmark movie has nothing on Calico Rock! Join us for the main event. The windows along Main Street are going to come alive with scenes from Christmas movies. We’ve had a sneak peak at all the hard work that local businesses and groups are putting into their windows and it’s next level. You do not want to miss Living Windows this year. The windows will open at 5:00 p.m. and will close at 6:30 p.m. We hope you’ll cast your ballot for the window that you think was the most original, had the most design, took a lot of effort, and best represented the Christmas movie they are portraying. We’re looking for the best windows and we need your help. Ballots are available in front of the Calico Rock Museum along with pencils and the ballot box. Ballots will be collected until 6:15 p.m. to give us time to finish counting before the parade begins.
Lighted Christmas Parade The Lighted Christmas Parade is going to begin at 6:45 p.m. from Main Street. The fire trucks, ATVs, emergency vehicles and floats will take off from the Sgt. Mike Stephen Memorial Bridge, travel along Main Street, turn onto Highway 56 and go to the King City Park beside the Calico Rock Fire Department. You can view the parade anywhere along this route. If you’re joining the parade this year, emergency vehicles line up behind upper Main Street. Please go up Chessmond Ferry Road to High Street, turn left onto High Street and then come down the streets to Main Street.
