THE RIVER HAUNT TO OPEN THIS WEEKEND

September 30, 2021, Batesville, Ark. — Main Street Batesville will once again be hosting the haunted house “The River Haunt”. The organization challenges everyone to survive the 10,000 plus square feet of twisted terror! The River Haunt opens the gate to all prey Oct 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, 29-30, and Halloween Night at 7 p.m. on the banks of White River, at 570 Stadium Drive in Batesville, Ark. Tickets at the door are $12 per head or $17 per head for Skip-the-Line passes. Reservations may be made online at mainstreetbatesville.org. This year’s haunted house is presented by Merchants & Planters Bank.

Covid precautions include mask requirements for patrons and haunters, hand sanitizing, sanitizing of the haunt before opening and between weekends, and disinfecting between groups.

The River Haunt team has spent the last 10 months preparing for guests and completely changing every room. Suzanne Magouyrk, co-coordinator says, “If you’ve come to The River Haunt in previous years, come again because every room has new horror added. Most of the rooms are completely different than last year”.

Reservations for groups of younger guests can be made for October 31 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at a reduced rate. These reservation can be requested by emailing theriverhaunt@gmail.com
