Ozark Folk Center
American folk musicians of regional and national renown perform at the Ozark Folk Center’s evening concert programs as well as entertaining Park visitors during daylight hours. Stone Drive In
Just outside of Mountain View Arkansas at 808 Theatre Ln. you will find a unique attraction that is sure to bring back memories of days gone by! This drive in theater has updated equipment to let you enjoy today’s movie and occasionally classic movie with digital picture and sound using a fm transmitter. Historic Melba Theater
The Melba theater was originally constructed as a mercantile store. It was eventually remodeled in Art deco style and reopened in 1940 to become one of the Arkansas’ first cinemascope theaters. Though the theater closed in the early 1990s, repairs and alterations were made and it reopened in 2000. In 2015, just before the theater had to close its doors again, it was purchase with the goal of renewing this historic treasure. The Downtown Playhouse
Downtown Playhouse in Historic Pocahontas provides full-scale stage productions by its resident acting troupe, Second Act Productions. Quality performances fill the venue as audience members know that they are always going to be entertained by first-rate acting, great musical talent, and amazing sets, while enjoying a very unique ambiance. The interior walls of the auditorium have massive Broadway show images painted on the walls, and you feel that you’re in the intimate setting of an outdoor café, complete with street lamps, delicious desserts and choice beverages.
