Diana 7/1: The Arkansas Craft Gallery features fiber artist, Diana Taylor. Come by and see Diana’s work and talk to her about how she creates her unique pieces of fabric jewelry. This gallery is run by The Arkansas Craft Guild, and has been promoting handcrafted in Arkansas since 1962.
Loretta 7/3: Loretta Babak is a painter who draws much of her inspiration for her work from the beautiful natural surroundings of the Ozarks. Come by and visit with Loretta and see her work including works painted on cedar. This gallery is run by The Arkansas Craft Guild, and has been promoting handcrafted in Arkansas since 1962.
Kim 7/15: Artist Yun Kim will be in the Gallery between 1 – 3 demonstrating her lyrical style and exciting use of color in her beautiful pieces of art. This gallery is run by The Arkansas Craft Guild, and has been promoting handcrafted in Arkansas since 1962.
The Arkansas Craft Gallery will feature artist, Yun Kim, July 15. Come by and meet Yun Kim and watch her as she creates another of her beautiful pieces of art between 1 and 3 pm. Kim trained in both painting and sculpture in her native South Korea, but put art on hold when she came to the USA in her twenties and entered the business world. In 2008 she moved to Mountain View with her husband Bobby Hensley and began taking classes and workshops with the Mountain View Art Guild, a very active painting group of 75 members. Soon her lyrical style and exciting use of color set her apart. She is an artist who celebrates life and beauty wherever she sees it.
