Get Ready to Pick and Grin at the 2025 Mountain View Bluegrass Festival!
If foot-stompin’ fiddle tunes, banjo breakdowns, and sweet harmonies make your heart sing, then pack your bags and head to Mountain View, Arkansas for the 2025 Mountain View Bluegrass Festival! This twice-a-year musical extravaganza is set to light up the Ozark hills March 6-8 and November 6-8, 2025, bringing together some of the finest bluegrass pickers in the country.
Why Mountain View?
Known as the “Folk Music Capital of the World,” Mountain View is more than just a festival destination—it’s a way of life. Walk through town on any given evening, and you’ll likely hear a spontaneous jam session happening on a porch, in a park, or right on the courthouse square. When festival weekend rolls around, the entire town becomes one big celebration of music, tradition, and good old-fashioned fun.
The Main Event: Ozark Folk Center State Park
The Ozark Folk Center State Park is the official festival venue, featuring a 1,000-seat theater that hosts back-to-back performances from some of the best bluegrass acts around. Expect legendary groups like Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, the powerhouse harmonies of Authentic Unlimited, and the world-class picking of Kenny Smith. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just discovering bluegrass, these performances will have you clapping, dancing, and maybe even shedding a nostalgic tear.
More Than Just Music
The Mountain View Bluegrass Festival isn’t just about watching pros on stage—it’s about getting involved! Between sets, grab your instrument and join a jam session. (New to bluegrass? Don’t worry—Mountain View folks love helping newcomers learn the ropes!)
Beyond the music, you can:
• Explore downtown Mountain View – Check out local craft shops, antique stores, and tasty diner all located on the square.
• Visit Blanchard Springs Caverns – A stunning underground world of waterfalls and rock formations.
• Float the White River – Cast a line and reel in a trout after having lunch at Angler’s on the river.
• Eat like a local – Try The Rusty Cup nestled downtown on the square.
Where to Stay?
Mountain View has plenty of cabins, bed & breakfasts, and campgrounds, but festival weekends get busy—so book early! If you’re feeling adventurous, consider a cozy cabin in the woods for the full Ozark experience.
Mark Your Calendar!
Whether you’re a bluegrass veteran or a curious first-timer, the 2025 Mountain View Bluegrass Festival promises a weekend filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable memories. So grab your banjo, dust off your dancing shoes, and get ready for a toe-tappin’ good time in the heart of the Ozarks!
