The Magnificent Me Display from the Museum of Discovery will be on display at Tech Depot, 209 Hazel Street until October 13, Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Fridays the display will be open 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The display from the Museum of Discovery features 18 exhibit stations featuring the human body and how it works.

John 3:17 will host the 6th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, October 4, located at Newport Country Club. Arkansas State University Newport is having a Fall Festival and Athletic Expo on Thursday, October 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come join in the free family fun including bounce houses, food, pumpkin decorating, snow cones, hayrides, carnival games, and live music. Plus meet the Aviator Athletes. Bring your chairs and blankets for a relaxing time outdoors.
