The Ozark Folk Center is now open for the season with Craft Village, Skillet Restaurant, Gift Shop, Smokehouse, General Store. Family fun and food and culture! You may spend hours or several days here and never experience it all.
Downtown Mountain View is where you need to be this weekend. 56th Annual Spring Folk Festival starts Friday, April 20, celebration featuring handmade crafts, frontier life demonstrations, a parade, lots of “folk, mountain and bluegrass” music, dancing on the Courthouse Square and delicious food. A great family fun event! The Ozark Folk Center open for the season has free admission to the Crafts Village during this weekend. Free Shuttle from downtown to the Ozark Folk Center on Saturday. There is shopping and eating all around the square and live music in every little pocket, porch or patch of space. Special singing and a parade will all be going this weekend! Family fun!
April 27 and 28th is the Dulcimer Festival, with workshops, jams and special concerts for all!
Loco Ropes is located right by the Ozark Folk Center, and there will be flying through the air fun and laughter filling the air. Be sure and don’t miss this opportunity, you can’t find these places just anywhere.
