Calico Rock Museum Heritage & Visitor Center expanding hours beginning October 2nd (Posted by Ginger Smith)
The Calico Rock Museum Heritage & Visitor Center will be expanding their hours beginning on Monday, October 2. The center will now be open six days per week. The new hours will be Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“For many years, we have wanted to be open six days per week to meet the needs of our community and visitors,” noted museum executive director Gloria Sanders. Prior to the museum’s expanded hours, visitors to town had no public restrooms, visitor information and scarce access to other visitor services on Mondays.
The Calico Rock Museum Foundation provides visitor center services on behalf of the City of Calico Rock. These expanded hours will better serve the city and community.
