Batesville Community Center and Aquatics Park Ribbon Cutting June 8th!! (Posted by Ginger Smith)
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Batesville Community Center and Aquatics Park, Thursday, June 8, to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new facility. Approximately three hundred guests were in attendance including community members, contractors, and city, county, and state officials. The community center will be open
seven days a week from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Batesville Community Center and Aquatics Park is equipped with a gym with basketball
courts, walking track and racquetball court. The facility also has an outdoor aquatic park and
three indoor pools. There is also a fitness center, group fitness room, bath house, meetings
rooms, kitchen, and concessions.
