Skillet Restaurant at OFCSP Among Top Five Places to Eat Buffet in Arkansas –

Mountain View, Arkansas –The Skillet Restaurant has been chosen as a top five place to eat buffet in Arkansas per the Arkansas Times Reader Choice Award for 2015.

The Skillet Restaurant is a long standing tradition in Mountain View,” says John Morrow, Park Superintendent. “We have seen hundreds of thousands of visitors in the over 40 years of operation, and our quality is better now than it ever has been before.  We strive to serve each person eating here with the personal attention and hospitality that the Ozark Folk Center is famous for.”
The Skillet Restaurant has a fried chicken buffet every Sunday and different buffets for special occasions or events.  The Thanksgiving Buffet has made the CNN Travel Top 10 places to eat for the last two years.

The Ozark Folk Center State Park Skillet Restaurant will open Mar. 10 with pre-season hours of Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Sundays 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Mar. 29 – Nov. 26 2016 Season hours of operation Mar. 29 – Nov. 26, Sunday – Saturday 7:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
The Ozark Folk Center State Park is located at 1032 Park Avenue in Mountain View. Follow the signs to the Ozark Folk Center State Park, less than a mile from the Courthouse Square in downtown Mountain View.  The park may also be reached by taking Hwy 5/9/14 (Sylamore Ave) to Jimmy Driftwood Parkway, which leads directly to the park entrance.
