Batesville is delighted to have, among others, the great Mexican Mamas’ authentic home-made from scratch Mexican cuisine for those just hungering for a tasty taco/enchilada/tamale/nacho plate! The owners, Tim & Irene “Mama” Grady, and their staff make everyone welcome and proficiently and quickly take orders and keep glasses filled with a smile.
Irene oversees/cooks everything served, home-made and hot from the stove! Whether tacos, enchiladas, nachos, or tamales, you can be sure they will be scrumptious and more than you can eat most likely at one time.
I always get a to-go bag, not leaving any of that delicious stuff on my table! Personally, I love the cheese and beef enchiladas with red or white sauce. My plate, as seen below, also overflowed with guacamole salad, salsa, rice and refried beans. Their cheese dip and chips are above and beyond any other I have ever tasted or made! Sometimes I just stop by and get the cheese dip and chips to go, great meal for one!
They also offer Torta, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, chimichangas, taquitos, Pico de Gallo, and even burgers, fries and chicken nuggets for others’ appetites. They recently moved from Meyers Street to Pioneer Plaza at 3000 Jennings Lane, Suite G, Batesville, AR 72501. You may call 870-698-1085.
