What’s going on near you!
This week can be kind of stressful with the upcoming holiday’s, but do not let it get you down. There are still some fun and interesting events going on all over the Ozark Region.
In Pocahontas there is Stroll the square on October 1st. It is free for admission and great for all ages. It will include art, music, free food, and tons of fun for the family. Stop on down while the fun last!
In Mountain View there is a Feature Concert with Dennis Stroughmatt on October 2nd from 2:00 pm to 3:00pm in the craft village and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Large Auditorium. Tickets for sale the day of the show. Lodging is available. For more information call 800-264-3655.
In Hardy there is a Pow-Wow from the 2nd of October to the 4th of October. It will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. Admissions is free. Bring your lawn chair and watch some amazing native dances. There will be some authentic arts and crafts for sale. In Newport there is a Reptiles of the River event going on that is free to the public. It will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 2:30 pm to 3:15 pm. Come learn about the different reptiles that can be found along the river! For more information contact the park superintendent at 870-523-2143.
