“MUSIC IN THE MOUNTAINS SHOW” OCTOBER 19TH SHOW FOCUSES ON YOUNG ARTISTS

The October Music in the Mountains Show will focus on the future of music and entertainment by featuring several young and talented artists. The October 19th show will concentrate on the future of music and entertainment by featuring acts of some of the area’s young entertainers.

This months’ show will be bringing together two young guitarists for the first time, seventeen year olds Garrett Duncan of Poughkeepsie and Andrew Williams of Melbourne. Both have appeared on MITM in the past. These young men are phenomenal guitarists, each in his own right, with their own style of playing, and will be combined on this show to bring some of the best guitar-pickin’ the area has to offer. Sixteen year old Cameron Shaver of Salem will return with his energetic clogging, and will also be featured on mandolin. Also appearing will be Brittany Smith. Brittany is from Searcy, AR. She grew up entertaining in Oklahoma and East Texas, singing, yodeling, & playing piano and dulcimer. Brittany previously appeared on MITM as well. Newest member of the Music in the Mountains cast, Eric Sitton will sit in with the Hwy 289 Band, along with Amy Clemmons Brown, Ed Luedke, Jerry Kipper and Ron Hart for an evening filled with music and entertainment, whether your musical taste be country, blues, gospel, classic rock, and pop.

The grill will fire up around 5:00 prior to showtime at 6:00 p.m. The Music in the Mountains Show is performed at the historic Horseshoe Bend Theatre, 811 Second Street, Diamond B Mall, Horseshoe Bend. For information (870) 373-3303.
