The Fulton County Fair will celebrate 100 years this year and will publish a cookbook of recipes from the past or those who have been passed down from family members. The cookbook entitled “100 Years of Fulton County’s Best Recipes” will go to press soon in order to be available for the 2019 county fair, July 22-27. All profits from the cookbook will go to the Fulton County Fair Foundation scholarship fund.

The cookbook committee is asking that anyone who has ties to Fulton County to submit recipes. We have already received a recipe from a former resident who now resides in Washington. The recipe was given to her by a neighbor when she moved to Fulton County 54 years ago as a newlywed.
The committee will also be selling Memorial Pages to help offset the cost of printing. All recipes should be submitted by June 3, 2019 and Memorial Pages must be ordered by that date. Recipe submission is free but there is a $20 charge for a Memorial Page. Don’t miss out on being a part of this historic book.
Pre-sale books are now on sale for $15 each or two books for $25 or three books for $36. Full price books will be $18 when they go on sale in July. A limited number of books will be printed and pre-sales will help the committee to know how many to order.
