“Live Raptors of Arkansas”
Coming to Jacksonport State Park on Labor Day Weekend!

Celebrate Labor Day Weekend at Jacksonport State Park discovering the magnificent Hawks, Owls, and Eagles that are native to Arkansas. Our guest speaker will be Rodney Paul who has been director of Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas for several years. This is a great introduction to the birds of prey native to Arkansas where you will be able to take photos of live birds. At the conclusion of the program, Mr. Paul and his staff of volunteers will be happy to answer your questions about the many kinds of birds Raptor Rehab works tirelessly to return to their natural habitat.

The mission of Raptor Rehab Of Central AR is to take in injured, sick or orphaned birds of prey, such as bald/golden eagles, hawks, owls and falcons and release them back into the wild. They are presently in their 16th year of operation.
