2016 Kids Fishing Derby – Batesville Young Anglers

(Powhatan, AR)  – Lake Charles State Park will be hosting its annual youth fishing derby on Saturday, June 10th.  Join us at the park for a chance to bring home the big fish.

The event is free to kids ages 15 and under.  Prizes will be given out to top anglers, as well as door prizes given out throughout the day.

Admission: Free

Lake Charles State Park is located just outside of Powhatan, AR in Lawrence County. The park offers camping, fishing, day use, and nature-related interpretive programming. The park is one of the 52 state parks administered by the State Parks Division of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism.
