Independence Day July 4th Events in Salem – Fun, Food, Music and Fireworks!

The Salem Chamber of Commerce Fireworks in the Park Celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 4 at the Salem City Park. The chamber invites everyone out to this free event to enjoy the fun, food, music, and one of the best fireworks displays in the area. The chamber will be selling armbands for $5 each for bounce houses for the kids and will also sell inexpensive patriotic toys, hand fans, and flags. Food Vendors include Crazy Cajun, White River Smoke, The Big Squeeze Lemonade, and Salem VFW Post 9777 will be selling snow cones. Vendors will be set up on the east side of the park.

The Salem VFW Post 9777 will perform the Colors Flag at 6:30 p.m.. At 7 p.m.HWY-M Band will play on the east side of the City Park. In conjunction with the Fireworks in the Park Celebration, Hall Rodeo LLC, will have an IPRA/ACA sanctioned rodeo  at the Fulton County Fairgrounds Arena, adjacent to the City Park. The Rodeo will start at 7:00 p.m.

Spectators at the City Park, Fairgrounds Arena, and surrounding areas can enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in the area at dark. There is excellent viewing from the Salem City Park or the Fulton County Fairgrounds. Rodeo action will resume after the fireworks. Business owners and individuals are encouraged to send your donation for the fireworks display to Salem Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 649, Salem, AR 72576 before June 30. Donations will also be collected after the event to help pay for this spectacular fireworks show.
