Independence County Library Will Open Public Computers

(BATESVILLE, AR) – The Independence County Library will open their public computers to patrons beginning Monday, August 24. In order to comply with COVID-19 restrictions, patrons are asked to call the library to make an appointment to use computers. Patrons are required to wear face masks at all times while in the library, except when eating lunch in the library’s cafe. The copy machine and fax machine will also be available for use beginning August 24. To reserve a time for computer use, call the library at: 870-793-8814, extension 1.

The Library will continue to offer curbside service for patrons who wish to check out materials. Library staff is following guidelines suggested by the State Library of Arkansas. For more information about the State Library and its recommendations, go to: www.library.arkansas.gov.

The library’s curbside service is available Monday through Thursday 9am to 6pm. Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
