(Batesville, AR) Get ready to embark on a literary adventure as the Independence County Library hosts its Registration Celebration on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library’s patio. This event marks the official kickoff for Summer 2024 and promises an afternoon filled with food, fun, and fantastic prizes.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy fresh grilled hotdogs, generously provided by First Community Bank, and the library will offer an array of chips and refreshing drinks, ensuring that guests are well-fed and hydrated throughout the celebration.  

Join us as we dive into the excitement of Summer 2024! Families are encouraged to bring their children, tweens, and teens to register for the Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme, “The Adventure Begins,” sets the stage for an unforgettable journey through the pages of captivating stories and thrilling adventures.
