Enjoy a Relaxing Happy Thanksgiving

Travel over the river and through the woods to celebrate a relaxing Thanksgiving at the Ozark Folk Center State Park. Sharing the traditions of mountain folk music, traditional handicrafts, and good old-fashioned cooking, the Ozark Folk Center is the perfect place for the whole family.

The Skillet Restaurant at the Ozark Folk Center hosts the award-winning Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Skillet has been in CNN’s top 10 places in the United States to eat Thanksgiving dinner four times. Known for the quality of traditional foods like turkey and stuffing, the Thanksgiving buffet also features fried chicken, as well as unique delights like Earthquake Cake and sugar-free desserts.

There are no reservations. Park in the lower parking lot when you arrive at the Folk Center and the park shuttle will take you to the Skillet. Put your name on the dinner list, and leave your cell phone number with the hostess. You’ll receive a call when your table is ready. While you are waiting for dinner, or to walk it off afterward, enjoy the Ozark Holidays Craft Show and the live music with Unkle Dave in the White Oak Theater.
