The Calico Rock Museum & Visitor Center has been welcoming visitors to Calico Rock throughout this summer.  We have several new “pop-up” exhibits at the museum, so if you haven’t been down in a while come see us!
At the Tomlinson Art & Science Center, we invite you to come tour the American South gallery.  This gallery has paintings that honor life in the South and are all painted by Southern artists.  These are beautiful representations of our history and heritage.  In the science center, we have opened new exhibits that help guests explore their creativity and learn about science in a fun way.  Research shows students who visit museums and zoos in the summer have a better chance to retaining what they learned in the previous school year and succeeding in the coming school year.
