Over 350 Enjoyed A Calico Christmas Dec. 10th!!
Tonight, over 350 people attended or participated in A Calico Christmas. This premier event closes out our tourist season and gives the community an opportunity to celebrate the holiday. Each year, the participation has increased steadily and the quality of the windows and floats has improved annually.The Christmas Living Windows winners, as voted on by the attendees, were: The Christmas Ball (first), Home for Christmas (veterans) (second), and Getting Ready for Christmas Dinner (third).The Lighted Christmas Parade float winners were: CMCIC (hospital) Gingerbread House (first) and Dr. John Lane Antique Tractor and Flying Santa (second), Printing Press Café Presents (third).Special thanks to the Calico Rock and Pineville Volunteer Fire Departments.
