Music & Stage Shows

Oh, play me some mountain music . . .

If entertainment’s what you’re after, you’re definitely in the right place. From traditional theater and small comedy venues to invigorating mountain, bluegrass, country, gospel and rock music in relaxed, friendly settings, you’ll find the perfect cap to the perfect day in the Ozark Mountain Region.

With destinations like Cash’s White River Hoedown, The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, John Taylor’s Laid Back Pickin’, Brickshy’s Backstreet Theater and the Ozark Folk Center State Park Music Auditorium, it’s all about traditional family entertainment, Ozark-style. The Folk Center has nightly shows that focus on music prior to 1941 using only acoustic instruments. Nationally known visitors perform throughout the year.
