Music in the Mountains Show

wymanThe monthly “Music in the Mountains Show” returns to Horseshoe Bend Theatre Saturday, June 20th 6:00 p.m.  The multi-talented Music in the Mountains Band will be on hand to host a variety of musicians as well as a local young dancer.

The Music in the Mountains Band will entertain with a new line-up of songs, and accompany various guests thorough out the evening. Among the musical guests appearing for the first time on the show will be Wyman Lee, a Nashville Recording Artist, who is an NCA Recording Artist, with a new CD to be released July 15th which is a compilation CD.

TurnerThe Turner Family, a well known Bluegrass Band from Mountain View will make their first appearance on the Music in the Mountains Show with their entertaining style of Christian bluegrass.

KaitlinThe show will add some variety with a dance solo by eleven year old Kaitlin Anderson. Kaitlin is the daughter of Carol and Kenny Anderson of Horseshoe Bend. She began dancing at the age of three while living in Covina CA, and is currently enrolled as a student of the Izard County Dance Academy and a member of the North Arkansas Dance Theatre in Batesville.  For more information regarding the North Arkansas Dance Theatre phone (870) 698-9098.

Other musical guests will include the very talented seven year old Joe Hutchison of Evening Shade, with his renditions of Elvis and gospel numbers. Pam Romine of Glencoe will also add her favorite gospel songs to the show. Denise Gibbons of Salem is also scheduled to perform some of her popular numbers from the 40’s and 50’s to add more variety to the line up, as well as the regular cast members of the Music in the Mountains Show.
