Looking for something to do during Spring Break? Davidsonville Historic State Park is offering a variety of activities throughout the week.

March 22, 10am-3pm: Archeology Day

Come celebrate Arkansas Archeology Month at Davidsonville! Presentations and tours will be given throughout the day and Archeologist Kathleen Cande will be on site with Davidsonville artifacts for show and tell.

10-11am @ Town Site Trailhead: Town Site Tour led by Archeologist Kathleen Cande

11:30am-12pm @ Pavilion 1: Presentation by local historian Steve Saunders, “Fourteen Years: Causes for the Demise of Davidsonville 1815-1829”

1-2pm @ Pavilion 1: Presentation and show & tell by Archeologist Kathleen Cande, “Looking into the Past Using Davidsonville Artifacts”

2-3pm @ Town Site Trailhead: Presentation and tour by Park Interpreter Anna Pfeifler, “River Transportation & Trade”

Spring is just around the corner. Nature hikes, programs, and tours will be offered every day and will provide you with the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the warmer weather.
