Looking for something to do during Spring Break? Davidsonville Historic State Park is offering a variety of activities throughout the week.

March 22, 10am-3pm: Archeology Day

Come celebrate Arkansas Archeology Month at Davidsonville! Presentations and tours will be given throughout the day and Archeologist Kathleen Cande will be on site with Davidsonville artifacts for show and tell.

March 25-29: Spring Break Programming

Spring is just around the corner. Guided hikes, tours, history and nature programs, and a Dutch oven demonstration will be offered during the week and will provide you with the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the warmer weather.

All programs are free of charge. Call the park for a more detailed schedule of events at 870-892-4708.

If you don’t want to participate in any of these activities but would still like to visit the park, you have the option of visiting the town site on a self-guided tour, fishing in Trapper Lake, paddle boat, canoe and kayak rentals, several hiking trails, camping, picnic tables and grills, and access to the Black River.

Davidsonville Historic State Park is located on Highway 166 South near Pocahontas.
