“MUSIC IN THE MOUNTAINS” JULY SHOW FEATURES VARIETY OF TALENT

The July 20th “Music in the Mountains Show” will be the place to be for a cool and entertaining evening. The monthly show has a very talented line up from toe-tapping clogging to blues, gospel, country and back! This months guest line up includes one of shows’ more popular guest singers, Penny Wolfe of Evening Shade. Wolfe brings her own brand of blues along with pop and country that all adds up to a super entertainer. Show director Melodie Clemmons invites Wolfe to join her in backing up other artists, joining Amy Clemmons Brown on back up. MITM congratulates Cast member, Amy Brown who was recently included as one of Little Rocks top rated attorneys by Legal Leaders magazine. Clemmons, Wolfe and Brown blend harmonies for feature numbers as well as back up. Another seasoned performer and area favorite, Ms. Bonnie Sweet of Ash Flat will bring country classic music as well as adding her own down-home comedy to the evening.

Talented clogger Cameron Shaver of Salem will be tapping his toes to many of the numbers performed, showing his dancing skills on special numbers. Andrew Williams of Melbourne will perform blues on his guitar. This young man is a self-taught guitarist, and enjoys joining in with the HWY 289 Band for some jamming blues. Brenda Doty of Horseshoe Bend will perform some old gospel favorites, as only this lady can do. The Hwy 289 Band and cast members Jerry Kipper, Ron Hart, and Ed Luedke will round out this incredible line up of talent.
