Do you want to preserve the treasures in your attic? Learn how at the Jacksonport State Park Save Your Stuff Workshop on November 9th. This hands-on workshop will provide information on saving a variety of family heirlooms as well as take-home materials. A behind-the-scenes tour of the park’s collection facility will allow participants to see how the park cares for its own treasures.
Seating is limited to 15 participants, so please call the park to pre-register by November 6th, 2013. A $25 registration fee (due on workshop day) is required to cover the cost of materials.
Through Amendment 75 Arkansas State Parks receives funding from a conservation sales tax of 1/8th of one percent. This funding source provides money for special projects, events, programs and maintenance repairs at all of our state parks. Thank you for your support of the Arkansas State Park system.
