2:30pm-Children’s Bird Hike-Tunstall River Walk Trailhead. Join a park interpreter on a stroll down the Tunstall River Walk looking for a variety of colorful birds. Learn how to use a bird identification book and binoculars. Listen for the different bird calls on the trail. After the hike, take home a bird coloring book and small bird identification book. Bring binoculars and wear good walking shoes.

Saturday, March 23

11:00 am-12:00 pm – Easter Egg Hunt – Courtyard. The event is fun for the entire family. Pose for photos with the Easter Bunny and get Easter face(temporary) tattoos. Prizes award for the lucky egg hunters, ages 1-12, who find the prize eggs; there is plenty of candy for every child.

Sunday, March 24

2:30 pm – Arkansas Wildlife – Jacksonport Courthouse. Arkansas is home to a group of fascinating fur –bearing animals such as beaver, mink and otter. You can discover their unique behaviors and touch the skins of the animals that live in Jackson County. After the program, you can make a wildlife collage to take home

3:30pm – Backyard Birds – Jacksonport Courthouse. How do you attract different birds to your backyard? What type of bird feeders are the best to protect the seed and keep the squirrels from feasting on the seed? Come and discover what birds like in bird feeders, seed and plant cover. After the program, take home your own pine cone feeder.
