Day Camps – June & July, 2014

Looking for something fun for the kids to do this summer? Register them for one of Davidsonville’s day camps and give them memories to last a lifetime. Archeology Camp will be held June 25-27 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. Kids will learn about archeology through fun activities and games and they will have the chance to dig in the dirt like real archeologists. Adventure Camp will be held July 16-18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Activities will include crafts, games, hiking and more. These camps will give kids the opportunity to learn more about history and nature while making lasting friendships. Both camps are open to kids 8-12 years old. Camp fees are $25 per day or $75 for all three days. Space is limited so contact the park interpreter early to register at 870-892-4708 or email at anna.pfeifler@arkansas.gov. Located on the edge of the Ozark Mountains, Davidsonville Historic State Park is on Highway 166 South, 15 minutes southwest of Pocahontas.
