Casa Lopez Mexican Grill Welcomes You to Imboden – Stop by and Let them Serve you! (Posted by Ginger Smith)

There are so many wonderful things to do in north central Arkansas, and delicious eateries!  Yesterday we traveled to Imboden to visit with a friend and long time supporter of OGTC, Orlando Lopez, owner/operator of Casa Lopez. No stranger to hard work, this young man with the dazzling smile was ready for us and we had a really good visit.

Casa Lopez Mexican Grill Welcomes You to Imboden – Stop by and Let them Serve you!

Orlando is open 7 days a week, operating a family restaurant waiting for you to stop in and let him feed you some really delicious “South of the Border” Mexican cuisine. I am always impressed with the efficiency of Orlando and his staff, quick to greet and seat and serve, and with a gracious smile.  I call him my young friend/entrepreneur who last year moved his business to their present location after redecorating it with some of the most beautiful color themes that it’s almost impossible not to take pictures every time I enter his new business.

There were quite a few customers for lunch yesterday, and I got permission for one of the above pictures.  These three gentlemen were served by Orlando himself, as you can see, and I visited with them.  They are employed by Arkansas Electric headquartered out of Little Rock, working in Black Rock on the floods after effects, and yes, they were smiling as they settled their tabs, what most folks do as they pay for authentic Mexican cuisine “a la exquisite!!!!”

Starving to death, and wanting some good enchiladas and salsa to fill up on, we were not disappointed. Orlando waited on us himself, as usual, and we got to visit even though he was very busy!!  He shared with me he had had visitors out of Michigan who loved his restaurant so much they took a lot of pictures and told him they had seen his listing in the Ozark Gateway Region web site and headed his way.  What we love to hear and share about our wonderful Ozark Gateway Region we serve!

Even with the restaurant almost filled to capacity, it took only minutes to get our orders.  I can vow their cheese sauce on beef and cheese enchiladas is the smoothest, creamiest I’ve ever eaten, and their salsa is one of the best around!  FYI, they make their own chips and and salsa and cheese dip!

They also serve breakfast, and offer BBQ, burgers and chicken for those seeking other cuisine.  Orlando said they are open to reservations for special occasions, just call him to reserve tables, etc.  And if you are traveling north central Arkansas, you have a lot to see, so be sure to go see Orlando.  Travelers  from Hardy to Walnut Ridge, two hot tourist attractions!, you can go through Imboden and visit with Orlando and be served with a smile and some good vittles!  The total package restaurant for good homemade food in a special little place called Imboden!

My favorite appetizer!! Yummy!

Call and reserve tables or the whole place for special celebrations!

Casa Lopez moved last year, they are located across from the parts store, at 1037 W. 3rd Street.  His phone number is 870-869-0026.  It’s a great new location with plenty of parking, and the same great service and awesome food to delight anyone and everyone! You may go to his web site for other data.  He is there cooking and serving 7 days a week!

We came, we saw, we visited, and we ate!! We shall always return, Orlando! Ginger
