Have You Donated?
Have you donated an item to the Calico Rock Chamber of Commerce Auction yet? You can check out some of the already donated items by looking in the window at the corner of Walnut and Main in Calico. There are some wonderful gift certificates, some antiques, framed art, and furniture. Everything from a large kayak, to a washer and dryer – as well as pizzas and sandwiches! Nearly every business is providing something (great advertising for them) and more items are wanted. The Chamber Board will provide some smaller items for a ‘silent auction’ table.
The date is drawing closer! The Auction is in conjunction with the Lion’s Club Rodeo, Friday and Saturday, June 7, 8. Saturday, the 8th will start with the Auction at 11am. in the pavilion at Earl King Park on Hwy. 56. KTLO will be on hand with their Treasure Chest and plenty of keys for everyone to try.
