workshop as the first step in the creation of a new tourism brand for the area. The brand will be
used in future marketing efforts by the City of Batesville Advertising and Promotions
Commission and the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce.

2017 Fulton County Fair—“Country Pride – County Wide” July 24-29, but there is an early event on July 22. Fair officials have a week filled with exhibits, contests, and events for area residents. It will run through Saturday, July 29 at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, Civic Center Road, Salem, Arkansas. Dairy Queen of Salem and Tri-County Farm and Ranch Supply of Ash Flat are the “Presenting Sponsors” and invites everyone to be a part of the fair. “County Pride-County Wide” is the theme for the 2017 fair.

BAAC Summer Art Camp for Kids is Next Week! July 17-21. This year’s camp will have an Art History theme. Students will learn about famous artists and try a variety of art techniques with instructor Leia Parks. Their work will be featured in an exhibition at the BAAC Gallery on Main August 8 – 26, with a gallery reception on Friday, August 11, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
