Old Independence Regional Museum will be offering the 11th in our series of senior programs for 2014.  On November 25, museum volunteers will lead participants in a fun game of Thanksgiving trivia. Afterward, the seniors will make a turkey table decoration to take home.

“We are so glad to have a consistent group of seniors attending our monthly programs;” said Amanda Nikkel, Humanities Educator, “however, we still have room for more!  Give us a call to get your name on the registration list!”

The last program of the year will be on Tuesday, December 16th.  During this program Nona Floyd, museum volunteer, will discuss popular Christmas legends.  Then seniors will make a Moravian star ornament to take home for their tree.

The program schedule for the remainder of 2014 will be:

November 25th – Thanksgiving

December 16th – Christmas Music & Ornaments

This program is free.  Space is limited to 15 participants and reservations are required.  Please call the museum at 870-793-2121 to reserve your space!
