Trunk or Treat:
Parking begins at 5:00 PM on October 31st in the parking lot in front of the chamber office. You can decorate your trunk if you would like to be part of the contest, judges will circulate among the trunks and award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner trophy’s. You don’t have to decorate your trunk to give out candy, it is a very rewarding experience seeing all of the happy trick or treater’s come out for this fun event. The event will start at 5:15 PM.
Charlet Estes is the coordinator of this event again this year. We have a new format: Parade of Costumes begins at 5:30 outside to the left of the gazebo. You can bring a lawn chair and watch the fun. Age groups are 16 and above, youth 6 – 10 and children under 10. Judges will choose a 1st place winner who will receive a trophy and 3 honorable mentions will receive a bat necklace. The first 50 participants will receive a glow bracelet. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
