A violin and piano concert by Dr. Sarah Jones-Hayes & Dr. Lauren Schack Clark (both music professors at ASU, Jonesboro, AR) will be at Cherokee Village United Methodist Church, corner of Keno & Otter Drives, Cherokee Village, AR.  This event is a benefit for Fountain Place and will be Sunday, November 9, at 3:00 pm.

Dr.  Jones-Hayes is an Instructor of Violin and Viola, and holds a DMA from the University of Michigan.  She has taught at the Cleveland Institute of Music’s preparatory department, Interlochen Arts Camp and Violin Institute, Wayne State University, the University of Michigan and master classes throughout the US.  She has performed internationally, as well as throughout the US.

Dr. Clark is Professor of Piano and Director of Keyboard Studies.  She has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist throughout the US and Europe, and is currently performing as a soloist with the Delta Symphony.  She holds a DMA from Boston University and has been voted Teacher of the Year by the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association.  Her students have won first prizes in many local and regional competitions.

A Meet the Artist Reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the concert.  Tax deductible donations to Fountain Place will be taken at the door on departing the sanctuary concert hall.
