Davidsonville Historic State Park is hosting a scout patch day on September 27 for all Boy and Girl Scouts ages 8 years old and up. Scouts will participate in several fun activities including archery, land surveying, hiking, and a scavenger hunt through the town site in order to earn the Davidsonville Discovered patch. The event will be held from 10a.m.-2p.m. and there is a $3 patch fee for each participating scout. Pre-registration is required and the deadline to register is September 25. Davidsonville Historic State Park is located on Highway 166 South, fifteen miles south of Pocahontas.
