Jacksonport State Park to host Pioneer Day’s Day Camp

Add to your child’s summer adventure by attending the Pioneer Days Day Camp. The camp is June 26th, 27th, and 28th from 9 am to 12 pm at the park pavilion.

Kids from age 7 to 12 years will have fun exploring history through games, activities and crafts. Children can dress up a pioneer lady or gentleman. Design a t-shirt for day camp to take home. Learn how to play pioneer games and wooden toys. You can make buttermilk biscuits in a Dutch oven for a snack and play historical softball. These are some of the fun activities planned for Pioneer Days Day Camp. The day camp is for girls and boys.

The fee for day camp is $15.00 per child, which includes the camp T-shirt. The fee is used to help pay the cost of materials used in the activities, drinks and snacks. All campers will meet at the pavilion.

Children’s groups, Day Care Centers and Summer Schools children are encouraged to participate in this camp. Don’t let your kids miss out on a summer adventure at Jacksonport State Park.
